Trust & safety

Private by default. Accountable by design.

Lippa doesn't read your private workspace, and doesn't want to. What we do instead: automated safety gates on generation, clear rules, honest labelling of AI media, and a reporting channel that a human actually handles. Proportionate, documented, and under Norwegian and EEA law.

How we operate

No general monitoring

We don't inspect private workspaces. Safety comes from automated gates, reporting channels and risk-based human review of flags, not surveillance.

Layered safeguards on AI media

Image and video generation pass checks before generation, at the provider, after generation and again at publication. Prohibited prompts are blocked and never charged.

Provider safety is a layer, not a shield

We use reputable model providers and add our own controls on top. Responsibility for the service stays with us, not with OpenAI, Anthropic or Google.

AI media is labelled

Generated images and video are disclosed as AI-generated, in line with the EU AI Act's transparency rules. Video is additionally marked as rendered by a US-based provider.

Age tiers on higher-risk features

Accounts are 13+. Image generation is 16+, and video generation and realistic depictions of real people are 18+ with consent confirmation. Public publishing carries stricter checks.

Zero tolerance where it matters most

Child sexual abuse material, sexualised minors and non-consensual intimate imagery are blocked, quarantined, preserved as evidence and escalated to authorities where required. No exceptions, no appeals delay.

Prohibited across all of Lippa: CSAM and any sexualisation of minors; sexual or pornographic content, whether uploaded or AI-generated; non-consensual intimate imagery, deceptive deepfakes of real people, fraud and fake documents, terrorist content, doxing, threats and blackmail. Full detail in the terms.

Seen something illegal or abusive on a Lippa-hosted page, shared link or generated site? Tell us. Reports are handled with a severity-based response: the most serious categories are actioned with priority, around the clock.

Be specific. The exact URL, what you saw, and where on the page. You'll hear back. We confirm receipt and, where lawful and safe, tell you the outcome. Fair to both sides. Affected users are notified where appropriate and can appeal ordinary removals. Child-safety and severe-abuse decisions are not subject to the ordinary appeal path. Urgent illegal material is removed first, discussed after.

Sites on a Lippa subdomain carry a "Hosted by Lippa" link that leads here. Sites on a custom domain don't show that link, but anything Lippa hosts can be reported on this page, whatever address it's served from.

File a report

Please do not include personal data about yourself or others unless it is necessary to describe the problem.

Couldn't send the report. Try again, or email abuse@lippa.ai directly.

Add the link or a description so we know what to look at.

Thank you. Report sent.

It goes straight to our safety inbox. Serious categories are handled with priority, around the clock.

Reports go to abuse@lippa.ai. For emergencies involving a child, contact your local police first (in Norway, Kripos / politiet).
